Our course is derived from the doctrine of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC). TCCC is created by the U.S. Department of Defense Committee on TCCC (Co-TCCC) to teach evidence-based, life-saving techniques and strategies for providing the best trauma care on the battlefield. NAEMT conducts TCCC courses as specified by the Co-TCCC’s guidelines and curriculum. We have applied these strategies to everyday life.
As non-medical personnel, you will learn simple but EFFECTIVE life-saving techniques that can prolong life until higher medical care arrives.
Topics you will learn are:
- Drags and Carries
- Hemostatic Dressings
- Celox Gauze
- Chito Gauze
- Combat Gauze
- Limb Tourniquets
- Peripheral Pulse
- AHA heart savers CPR certification and first aid
At the end of all the hands-on training and skills checklist, we will run a live action scenario. The live action scenario is designed to cause stress so you can use your new skills at the time it is needed most. We believe in training as realistic as possible. We use actors and fake blood as well as simulated explosions to create controlled chaos.
We also believe “if you don’t use it, you’ll lose it” so, we would conduct bi-annual refresher training for your school or facility.
